THE BUS GROUP EXCURSIONS PROGRAM 2011.

1. POSTOJNA
DEPARTURE: early in the morning around 7,30 a.m. to Postojna
At 10 a.m. starts our visit of the Postojna caves.It includes a 4 km trip with a small touristic train and a 2 km walkthrough the beautiful galeries. After about 1.30 hour visit we have lunch at the nearby restaurant “Jama” .After lunch we are returning to the hotel.

2. ISTRATOUR(UMAG-GROŽNJAN-MOTOVUN-PAZIN-POREČ)
DEPARTURE :After breakfast, at 9. a.m., through Buje to Grožnjan
A picturesque town with a rich past where interesting handycrafts can be seen. We continue down the river Mirna valey to the medieval town of Motovun, surrounded by its walls dating back to the 13 th and 14 th century. After visiting Motovun we continue our trip to Pazin, the region center, where we will spend some time at the istrian etnographical museum.A beautiful restaurant with istrian atmosphere will host us for lunch near Pazin.We come back to Umag via Vrsar and Poreč.

THE PRICE INCLUDES: Guide, entrance to the etnographic museum of Pazin, tipical istrian lunch including 0,25 l of wine and of water, coffee.
3. NATIONAL PARK “BRIJUNI”- PULA
DEPARTURE AT: 8,30 A.M. through Novigrad and Poreč to Fažana.
From Fažana transfer by a small boat to the Brijuni islands. After coming to the Veli Brijuni island, we start our sightseeing all over the island with a small touristic train. We will see all the natural beauties, the ruins from the roman town ”castrum “from the 2nd century B.C., the safari park. We will also visit the Museum of natural sciences with collection “Tito on Brijuni” , the archeological museum and St. German church(with fresco paintings).
At the end of our trip to Brijuni, the lunch will be served in a tipical istrian restaurant in Barbariga.
THE MENU IS: Aperitiv, istrian soup –maneštra with lasagne, meat plat “betiga”(4 meat tipes),rosted patatos, salad,dessert, 1/4 l of wine and mineral water, coffee.
After lunch we continue our excursion visiting Pula and its beautiful monuments:the Arena, the Sergius arch, Forum romanum…
Return in the early evening hours.

4. POSTOJNA – LIPICA
DEPARTURE:early in the morning around 7,30 a.m. to Postojna,Slovenija where at 10 a.m. starts our visit of the Postojna caves.It includes a 4 km trip with a small touristic train and a 2 km walk through the beautiful galeries. After about 1.30 hour visit we have lunch at the nearby restaurant “Jama”. Our excursion continues with a one hour visit of Lipica, where the most known lipicaneri horses have been raised for almost 400 years. We will return at around 6 .p.m. to our point of departure.

5. NATIONAL PARK “BRIJUNI” ( ½ DAY PROGRAM)

6. PLITVICE – NATIONAL PARK
DEPARTURE: early in the morning at cca 6,30.
After a nice drive with a few stops during which the guests can refresh themselves,arrival at the Plitvice is at cca 11,30. Plitvice lakes are a national park and they is declared one of the most beautiful natural sights in Europe.The tour goes on to the lower lakes.With a little boat the guests are going to the other side of a lake ‘Kozjak’, where they are seeing other lakes and watterfalls.Also they are seeing a bottom part of a Lower lakes (with a little train or by walking) where the most beautiful watterfalls are.Whole tour is taking about 4 hours.Departure from Plitvice is planed at about 17,00 o’clock. On our way back we stop to eat dinner which is included in price.

ZIGANTE TARTUFI(DEGUSTATION & DEMONSTRATION)
Organised visit to the Zigante production plant in Plovanija, the first and only factory in Croatia specialised in conservation, production and packing of truffles and truffle products.
Degustation in Restaurant Zigante, which includes truffle tasting, wine tasting and Zigante olive oil tasting;
Truffle seeking demonstration in the world truffle center – Livade.
